1. Nothing is permanent. Some things may stay unchanged for a very long time but nothing lasts forever. Death comes to all.

2. In the very long run all serious problems are self correcting. (this deserves alot of explaination. I'll fill it in when I have the time.)

3. All people act in what they perceive to be their best self interest. (some people are more honest about it than others. Some people have better perception than others) Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

4. God may or may not exist depending on the definition of existence or God for that matter. It doesn't make a difference either way. Nothing changes.

5. There is no such thing as a free lunch.

6. In the long run, what goes around comes around. Not because there is some supreme judge but because a person is never really free from the consequences of their own actions.

7. You can bring a thirsty horse to the water but you cannot make it drink. In the end it is only possible to help people who help themselves. There is only one person in the universe responsible for you and that is you. That does not mean that you should not help those around you. Just make sure that you are not wasting your time.

8. People should be free to pursue whatever they desire so long as they do not steal, cheat or use physical force.

9. No man is an Island. A naked man with no tools will die in the wild. If we do not work together, we will perish.
