Description

This is a auto only mid-'80s point and shoot, with a 4-element f/3.5 34mm Yashica lens. It looks a lot like the Yashica T2, and of course I wonder whether the lens might be substantially the same except for the T* coatings. And the focal length.

I haggled for it at a garage sale, and paid $3.50 for the camera and a soft pouch.

After I bought it, I noticed there was a film showing through the window, and the frame counter showed 12. I replaced the dead battery and shot the "rest" of the roll. Turned out, the roll had been rewound already. The photos had a heavy purplish cast, but some did turn out.

I intend to re-load, soon.
