It is a sand/cobblestone point set up. It wave typically is only a right, although one can ride lefts if they are further north close to trestles. The wave itself is consistent and semi-hollow during low tides.

One can either park at the San Onofre State Beach and walk north or park by the 5 and walk to Trestles then head south.
