Name of Spot

Petacalco

Summary

This consistent, powerful beachbreak was throttled by the damming of the Rio Balsas river, which was dammed for a Japanese-financed steel mill in early Seventies. Now the wave closes out on most days, and is but a faint shadow of its previous self.
