Astronomers at Rutgers and Penn State Universities have discovered galaxies in the distant Universe that are ancestors of our Milky Way. This new studies have arrived to new results about the age of the universe, the two billion years old concived in the past has now changed. This new studies have led to believed that the universe is 13.7 billion years old.
The Galaxies observed at the distant universe are very similar to our galaxy but smaller in size and with one fortieth of the quantity of stars found in the Milky Way. This finding is associated with the probability of the existance of an evolution of the galaxies. This new spiral galaxy is named Lyman Alpha.
