Pat Bowring age 45 was tech diving off the shore of Bondi Beach on May 24th, 1996 when a White shark attacked and killed him.

CORRECTION: See comment below. Pat died in a diving-related accident. His body may have been attacked by shark later, but he did not die from a shark attack. Thanks for the information Michael.
