Ray Boundy age 28 was a prawn trawler out on the New Venture when it capsized and sank in heavy seas off Lodestone Reef. Boundy along with two others were treading water when a 16.5’ tiger shark attacked them. Boundy would be the only one to survive the incident with injury to his left knee.
