Verdon Harrison age 32 survived a shark attack on March 13th, 1977. Verdon along with two others were shot down by a Japanese freighter. They drifted, clinging to an icebox for two days. Harrison would be the only one to survive. His feet were bitten by sharks but he was rescued by a charter boat.
