Non-Fatal Shark Attack, Passaris

Description

On May 16th, 1949 Mary Passaris age 22 was bathing at Broome Beach, Australia when she was attacked by a shark. The shark was reportedly a 9’ whaler shark ranging from 350 to 450lb. The shark severed her left arm, above the elbow. Mary would survive the attack.
