Non-Fatal Shark Attack, Unknown Lockhardt River Native

Description

Unknown Loockhardt River native male around 27 years was non-fatally attacked in October of 1939. He the male was diving for trochus shells off near Restoration Rock off of Portland Road when a 14’ tiger shark attacked. The shark lacerated both of his hands and left three tooth fragments embedded into the wounds.
