Title
Life creates it, makes it grow (The physics behind the Force)
Full text of quote"Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter. You must feel the Force around you; here, between you, me, the tree, the rock, everywhere, yes. Even between the land and the ship.” ~ Yoda...With your practice of Self-awareness as suggested in the entry "May the Force be with you", you will notice the beginnings of the Force in you as a subtle energy. So just as Yoda says, life (your life) creates the Force and makes it grow, i.e. increase in frequency. But what is the underlying principle at work here? ...Well, energy exchange is a characteristic of resonance -- a fundamental principle of physics. It is via resonance that you are increasingly entrained to the supreme energy or power -- felt within you as the Force. Interestingly, the Casimir effect or Casimir-Polder force is a physical force exerted between separate objects due to resonance with the all-pervasive zero-point energy field in the intervening space between the objects. Physicists typically demonstrate the Casimir effect (alias the Force) using a pair of uncharged parallel metal plates in a vacuum. (See image 2 at lower right.) Similarly, you can experience the Casimir effect using your own pair of parallel "plates" of consciousness: Your field of vision being one "plate" and your awareness of your field of vision being the second "plate". And since these two "plates" of consciousness are non-physical elements, there is an inherent vacuum between them. "Physics is a form of insight and as such it’s a form of art." ~ D. Bohm In image 3, a 15th c. artist represents the practice of Self-awareness in a (mostly ignored) background detail to The Last Supper. Note the plates representing consciousness connected. Referring to the Force, Yoda says: "Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter. You must feel the Force around you; here, between you, me, the tree, the rock, everywhere, yes." ...Diligently practice Self-awareness by paying attention to your peripheral vision. Then you will have activated the "Watcher" and will indeed feel your connection with the Force everywhere -- as symbolically represented in images 3 thru 8. "We are symbols, and inhabit symbols." ~ R. W. Emerson Note: in most of those images, that which is aware (the "Watcher") of your peripheral vision is represented by a second person dressed in red. You, seeing with your eyes, are represented by the other person. Why red? ...because you are energizing your spiritual "heart". "All his life has he looked away... to the future, to the horizon. Never his mind on where he was. Hmm? What he was doing. Hmph. Adventure. Heh. Excitement. Heh. A Jedi craves not these things." ~ Yoda Now, having learnt about connecting your "plates" of consciousness, please return to the entry "May the Force be with you" and notice the symbolic position of the hands in images 2 thru 5 there.
