A Columbus man arrested on child exploitation charges Tuesday will appear before a judge for the first time today.

Rickey Holmes, 50, of 4306 Third Ave. was arrested after Columbus Police executed a search warrant.

Holmes' charges include a possible range of offenses, including transmitting, buying or selling a child's name, telephone number or information about the child in order to offer him for sexual conduct. It also includes using the Internet to lure children for an illegal act or using obscene language with a child.
