A former Bedford County public defender already charged with child molestation has been charged anew with having child pornography on his county-issued laptop.

Bedford County District Attorney Bill Higgins says investigators found more than 400 images of child pornography on Bradley Scott Bingaman's computer.

Bingaman waived arraignment Tuesday and pleaded not guilty. He remains in custody.

The 31-year-old resigned in March and was charged in June with sexually molesting a girl for several years, from the time she was 7 until she was 11.
