A North Kansas City firefighter was indicted on federal charges for possession of child pornography on Friday.

Toby Rice entered the federal courthouse with his hands and legs shackled. He was indicted on three counts alleging that he knowingly distributed visual depictions on his computer that involved minors engaged in sexual conduct.

According to Judge Hayes, the indictment alleges that Rice possessed, produced and distributed child pornography from April 7 to August 24 of this year.
