A Ross County man is back in trouble with the law again just months after being secretly indicted on obscenity charges.

Kenneth A. Smith, 41, of 1999 Black Run Road, was indicted last week on charges of rape and gross sexual imposition with alleged minors, authorities said.

mith had been arrested earlier this summer after an investigation by the Ross County Sheriff's Office and the Chillicothe Police Department. He was secretly indicted on 38 counts of child pornography, which included eight counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor and 30 counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor, meaning the photos were of a child and of a graphic sexual nature.
