A Council Bluffs elementary school custodian has been arrested on charges he possessed child pornography.

Sixty-4-year-old Robert Schafer, of Council Bluffs, was arrested Friday afternoon at his home. He was taken to jail and released after he posted $5,000 bond.

Police Sgt. Jerry Mann says officers received a tip from someone who saw a video of a young female on an MP3 player Schafer had.

Mann said the video appeared to be downloaded from the Internet.
