A South Jersey man was sentenced to six years in jail today after pleading guilty to driving a 12-year-old to New York so the boy could have sex with an adult.

Robert G. Pelle, 41, of Bellmawr, admitted to taking the boy to New York in November 2003, when prosecutors say the sexual encounter with the adult male occurred. In addition, Pelle admitted in April that he had owned a collection of child pornography that he knew was illegal, said Michael Drewniak, spokesman for U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie.
